Savanna Lim is a Singaporean-Texan majoring in Urban and Regional Studies. Here at Cornell, she is involved with multiple cultural organizations, is a photographer/videographer for The Thread Magazine, works as a graphic designer for the music department, and uses the word "lunch" as a verb. She is passionate about social justice and equality issues, specifically Asian-Pacific American issues and worldwide access to education. Her favourite summer is one in which she lived with a host family in Nicaragua for two months and learned more about asset-based community development, cultural exchange and tolerance, and sustainable development.

Mayra Valadez is a senior majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations and minority in Latinx Studies. She was the first-ever elected First Generation Student Liaison at-Large, and she is in her second term as the chair of the Financial Aid Review Committee. On campus, she is the Co-President of the First Generation Student Union and the founder of their mentorship program. Mayra also serves as the Director of University Partnerships of EdMobilizer, a national organization that advocates for First Generation and Low-Income students. Last summer, she interned in the U.S. House of Representatives. She hopes to one day become an elected official herself.

Ian Wallace is a sophomore majoring in Near Eastern Studies and History with a minor in Arabic. On campus he serves as LGBTQ+ Liaison on the Student Assembly and is a member of Cornell Welcomes Refugees as assistant to the operations director. Last summer he interned at Refugee and Immigrant Support Services in Albany, previously he took a gap year to study Arabic in Morocco. Ian enjoys reading and hiking.

Matt is passionate about mental health and disability advocacy, and has spent much of his time at Cornell involved in the Student Assembly. He chaired the Assembly's Health and Wellness Committee and served as Executive Vice President this past year. He has previously held the roles of LGBTQ+ Liaison and VP of Outreach. Through his involvement on the SA and Cornell Minds Matter, he founded and organized the first three annual Mental Health Awareness Weeks at Cornell.

Sarah Park is a sophomore studying Industrial and Labor Relations with intended minors in Business, Public Policy, and Applied Economics. Her involvement with shared governance began on the University Assembly her freshman year when she focused on issues such as carbon neutrality, the Ithaca Plan and the school's tobacco policy. She chairs the Communications Committee and sits on the Appropriations Committee and Codes and Judicial Committee. On campus she's involved in Class Councils and Alpha Chi Omega. Off campus she coaches high school public forum debate and volunteers at the Cayuga Heights Fire Department. As a New Jersey native, she loves bagels and late-night drives with friends. You can probably find her in Libe Cafe debating with Gabe Kaufman.

Jaewon Sim is a freshman in the College of Arts & Sciences majoring in Computer Science. He serves as the Cornell Student Assembly's Vice President of External Operations. He is also a Freshman Representative and is a voting member of the Student Assembly. He was the former Director of TEDxJIS Conferences, an independently organized TED-event in Jakarta, Indonesia. He is also a member of TED’s Open Translation Project and has coordinated transcriptions and translations of TEDxJIS Talks and TEDTalks. Jaewon has attended 9 different schools in four countries – the United States, Indonesia, China, and South Korea – over the past several years of his life.
